Who We Are

H&T Creatives is a social media management and digital growth collective based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, founded by Hudy and Tino. We operate the website htcreatives.com and provide digital marketing services to businesses across East Africa and beyond.

For data protection law, H&T Creatives is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What Data We Collect

We only collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us through our contact form. This includes:

  • Your first name and business name
  • Your email address
  • Your selected package or budget range
  • Any message or information you choose to include
  • Client phone number as accessory contact option

We do not collect sensitive personal data (such as health information, financial details, or government identification numbers) through this website.

How We Use Your Data

Information submitted through our contact form is used exclusively to:

  • Respond to your enquiry in a timely manner
  • Follow up regarding a potential working relationship with H&T Creatives
  • Send you information you have specifically requested

We do not use your data for automated decision-making, profiling, or unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.

Who We Share Your Data With

Your personal data is processed by the following third-party services only:

  • Formspree — our contact form processor. Formspree receives your form submission and forwards it to our email inbox. Formspree is GDPR-compliant and does not sell or misuse your data. Their privacy policy is available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Zoho Mail — our business email provider, where your message is received and stored. Zoho stores data in EU-based data centres and is GDPR-compliant.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal data with any other third parties, advertisers, data brokers, or partners.

Data Retention

We retain email enquiries and contact form submissions for up to 24 months from the date of receipt. If you become a client, relevant communication records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for up to 3 years after the engagement ends, for legitimate business and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Our website is served over HTTPS with SSL encryption provided by Cloudflare. All form submissions are transmitted securely via Formspree's encrypted infrastructure. Access to stored data is restricted to H&T Creatives founders only.

Section 02

Cookie Policy

What cookies we use and why.

What Is a Cookie

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. Cookies are used for various purposes including remembering preferences and tracking usage.

Cookies We Use

This website uses one cookie only:

  • ht_cookie — a preference cookie stored in your browser's localStorage. It records whether you have accepted or declined our cookie notice so we do not display it on every visit. This cookie contains no personal information and is not transmitted to any server.

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookies on this website.

Cookie Duration

The preference cookie persists in your browser's localStorage until you clear your browser data. It does not have a server-set expiry date.

Managing Cookies

You can clear this cookie at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage or browsing data. You can also decline cookies when prompted on your first visit to the site. Note that declining cookies does not affect your ability to use any feature of this website.

No tracking. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or analytics tools on this website. Your browsing behaviour on this site is not monitored or recorded.

Section 03

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and design — is the property of H&T Creatives and is protected by applicable copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without prior written permission from H&T Creatives.

Section 04

Client Terms

Terms governing the service relationship between H&T Creatives and its clients.

Billing & Payment

All service packages are billed monthly in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS). Payment is due at the start of each billing cycle. A 50% deposit is required to initiate any new account or campaign. Failure to make timely payment may result in suspension of services.

Client Obligations

Clients are required to provide brand assets, login credentials, approvals, and feedback in a timely manner. Delays caused by the client may affect the agreed content schedule. H&T Creatives is not liable for missed deadlines resulting from delayed client responses.

Package Changes & Cancellation

Upgrades are available at any time with immediate effect. Package downgrades or cancellations require 14 days' written notice before the next billing cycle. Notice must be provided in writing via email to studio@htcreatives.com.

Minimum Commitment

The success of the campaign heavily depends on the plan of choice. We heavily advise choosing the 'Authority' tier for maximal growth. A 3-month minimum commitment is recommended for optimal results. Social media growth is a process — meaningful results take consistent effort over time.

Portfolio & Case Study Usage

Unless agreed otherwise in writing at the start of the engagement, H&T Creatives reserves the right to use managed accounts and content produced as portfolio references, case studies, and promotional material. Clients who wish to opt out must notify us in writing before the engagement begins.

AI Disclosure

H&T Creatives uses artificial intelligence tools in content production, including copywriting assistance, image generation, and editing workflows. The use of AI tools is always disclosed to the client. All AI-assisted content is reviewed, edited, and approved by our team before publication. The quality and accuracy of all deliverables remains our responsibility.

Confidentiality

H&T Creatives treats all client information, brand assets, business strategies, and communications as confidential. We will not disclose client information to third parties without written consent, except where required by law.

Section 05
